Let’s stick together.

At the heart of The Family Narrative has always been the concept of togetherness. Our annual retreats were born from noticing a lack of educational opportunities for family photographers to gather and inspire, support, and learn from one another. Our retreats have fostered a genuine sense of community, but with six successful retreats behind us, we began to discuss other ways to engage our larger community - specifically those looking for ongoing accountability and monthly guidance. And so TFN Together was born.

[If you’re catching this here for the first time, TFN Together is a membership we have created as a community support system and resource for family photographers that helps us move the needle forward in our businesses. With monthly roadmaps and goals provided by 12 different teachers and an active discussion forum, we invite our entire community (not just those who’ve attended the retreats) to collectively work toward improving ourselves and therefore our industry, one step at a time.]

But the timing of launching a membership while most of us are quarantined in our homes and panicked about the future of our businesses? It feels weird and uncomfortable. Just like you, we are taking things one day at a time and giving ourselves lots of latitude as we navigate the news and what it means for our families and livelihoods.

The thing is, we’ve spent all year hard at work developing the TFN Together concept and creating a series of goals and roadmaps that we KNOW have the potential to become incredibly powerful tools in your business. And while launching during a global crisis caught us entirely by surprise, we’ve found lots of reasons why we need this kind of guidance and support in our businesses... perhaps now more than ever:

  • Leadership: Each month will feature an industry leader who will not only teach their craft but also lead us through their thoughts on how to best move forward during this uncertain time.

  • Flexibility: Our membership is designed to be self-paced and flexible. You’ll receive the content in small doses (1-2 hours a week) and can revisit previous months at any time during the year.

  • Discussion: The membership includes access to a topic-organized forum for you to engage with teachers and other community members to discuss and ask questions… no logging into Facebook necessary! A strong foundation and network will carry you through the hard times.

  • Value: For less than $1 a day, you can be part of a community of like-minded photography business owners who will help you, support you, and cheer you on so YOU can make big things happen in your business. Monthly and annual subscriptions are available to make this fit your specific needs.

  • Accountability: We all feel inspired and motivated after a workshop or class, but we get home to our busy lives and it’s hard to follow through. By engaging on a weekly basis with teachers and fellow community members, you’ll be held accountable for working on instead of always in your business.

  • Prizes: At the end of each month’s goal completion, you’ll be eligible to win a giveaway offered by that month’s teacher. AND if you’ve completed all 12 goals by the end of the year, you’ll be entered to win a FREE TICKET to The Family Narrative’s annual retreat in 2021.
